Alan Heisig founded ALANSA International to assist businesses, large and small, with cost effective support as they do business with federal government departments and agencies and with business to business interactions. ALANSA International has flourished since it's inception by focusing on understanding the direct and contextual requirements of clients and assisting them to solve their unique needs, rather than trying to fit "preformatted solutions" to general classes of problems. He is a graduate of the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and the Naval Postgraduate School. He integrates practical government knowledge with a strong business experience and educational foundation.
His achievements include highly successful tours as Enterprise Operations Vice President of an information technology services company wherein he grew the business from 30 people on a single project to a 600+ person company which was purchased by a major defense industrial company. He served as an operations manager and a business development director of businesses whose client bases were focused on U.S. Government solicitations and contract implementation.
He enjoyed a highly successful naval career with three large commands at sea and an ashore subspecialty in telecommunications management. He culminated his naval career as Deputy Director for Defense Wide Command, Control, Communications and Computer Support for the US Joint Chiefs of Staff (J61). He served as the U.S. representative to the NATO Allied Naval Communications Agency (ANCA). He displayed acumen and finesse in his accomplishments at sea as Commodore of a deployed amphibious squadron; as Captain of a fleet flagship based in Japan, and as Captain of a highly regarded amphibious ship.
